I think maybe it was an issue with getting the right sized bands to go with the manifold. Not really too sure as it's supposed to be a surprise birthday present for me, and it was my sister that spoke to Phil. She let the cat out of the bag once it started getting technical.

Bob, what bands are you using to make it all work???
