Price... It depends on a. how much of a bastard the person selling it is and b. how much of a bastard the person buying it is.

I got mine for £2k including flying to Larnaca and back to pick it up. Go figure whether (a) or (b) above applies I also got a very favourable exchange rate too as the owner wanted paid in US Dollars rather than Cypriot pounds. Also you save a fortune buying used because someone else has taken the hit on import taxes and costs plus you don't have to shell out £4-500 for a course either. Though the latter is probably a good idea though can't say for sure. As my user name says...

Mine was an oldie but not as old as 018 (052). From what I've seen of the new handsets I think I prefer the old ones. The oldies also have a maintenance free O2 valve, you shouldn't need to replace the seat in the old ones. OTOH the new ones have O2 injection on either side. The oldies have it on the left which I don't like as it is very busy (O2 valve, wing inflate & stages).
