Most of the Americans I've met on my travels, including divers have been extremely polite and friendly.
While it's easy to lump everyone in under the same flag, remember that every race has it's t0ssers.
Their government is crap, a lot of the military is gung ho but there are a lot of nice people out there.
Take it easy on the generalisations eh?
