| Personally I use O2 grease on everything. Yes it is expensive, but you don't use much. One £17 tube from APD lasted me well over a year.
I use it on everything because:
A) I'm lazy - why carry two types and have to think about it
B) It may be ambient, but it's also 100% in the loop fgrom 6m up.
The cost saving just didn't seem enough to me.
