For me it is just a little inconvinient as we have a generator and pouring 5lt of diesel in that every 10 hours or so is not an issue as for the noise ..... i spent enough years on ships and boats to hear past that. There are a lot of people here that canīt run one though and they are realy in the sh!t. Elderly people espvialy ... no cooking , no washing , no lights etc. All that because the Unelco canĻt get to grips with the grid they have put up in a " ah that wil do vor now" manner .... hell it looks like patchwork. After the big storm we had, we thought, rught now all that crap is blown away they might get round to doing things in a propper way......... no such luck, those idiots are agin doing the banana republic patchwork crap. It just canīt be true, that those to$$ers canīt put up " rain proof " powerlines. Ho hum have to put some diesel in the genny.
