Be very wary about any email purporting to be from ebay.
Go straight to your account, not via the address in the email, and check if it is in "your messages".
I get lots of emails "from ebay" asking me to confirm account details, asking questions about fictitious sales and referring to transactions. I don't think the freekers have ever attached me to a genuine transaction yet but it wouldn't be too hard.
