The antifreeze cap is a small rubber thing that should be filled with Alcohol / glycol and fitted on to the 1st stage. There is a ridge in the cap that fits into the groove in the stage. The whole lot is held together with a thin cable tie.

These caps are expensive and prone to pinholing and tearing.

Are you sure that you really need them?

I've used Cyklons for over 20 years and used to fit these caps but when I tried to buy the nice shiney stainless steel ones from Portland Oceaneering they said no cap was necessary.

So I ditched the caps and have had no problems with freezing even down to sub 4 degree fresh water and filling DSMBs etc
