I have now taken the dust cap off, having got home expecting some water to come rushing out, however nothing, which left me hopeful that maybe it was not fully flooded.

Just to be sure I took off one of the hoses to have a look right inside the reg to see if all was dry. However a great rush off air came out.

I can't really understand this the dust cap was not put on the reg under pressure, what has caused this air expansion. My guess is the water has gone stale inside and some rank little bugs, trapped inside have been filling my reg with gas???

Either way what do you peeps recon, is this a problem in need of the dreaded service or nothing to worry about, the reg is going in for O2 cleaning soon, so is this something that may sort out,HELP!!
bob mate - get them serviced - unless you feel happy to service them yourself (though if you're asking these questions then get someone to do it ) - that way you'll be safe..

all the best
