| I have to admit to not understanding the rationale behind clipping off the primary reg? Unless the gas is unbreathable at the depth you are currently at, do you not want the long hosed reg instantly available for donation if required? Adding in the faff factor of a clip-off second stage seems contrary to instinct here. Why is it done?
I must admit then once I am on my stage I leave my rpimary reg loose around my neck. I only hangs down by about a foot, if that, and is right there, ready to donate if I need to. I only use the clip on it to tidy up out of the water. |
