The Type 'B' undersuits such as the DUI 400 Really come into their own when you have a flood/leak.

If you have to face 30+ mins of deco with a leaking suit, even in the summer with 18DegC water, it will be very uncomfortable and the deco will be poor. With a Type B undersuit, more gas is trapped in the fibres which helps prevent total loss of thermal insulation. It is design to be compressed whilst still maintaining thermalprotection.

I have come out of a dive soaking, with a DUI and still felt warm. It is worth the investment IMHO.
