I'll agree with this the government would just F**K it up like everything else and i like the idea of the fund raising event for the RNLI but i would like it down on the south coast for the lifeboats here in Devon, or does the money go where it's needed?

i saw the program and i think that anyone who shows that bravery and conviction in what is a volunteer job gets my respect and any help i can give i do give money at the moment through my pay but £5 a month just doesn't seem enough after seeing that.

there should also be a mention for the chopper crew who also have a large part to play in the rescues today and who we as divers would see more of. there is the RAF flight out of chivernor here and they seem to always be out.
