<font color='#000080'>Well, I can give you an opinion on it, but this comes from spending about 15 minutes in the kids paddling pool at the Dive Show.
Tried the Inspiration, and it felt good. Everything worked how I expected it to (sort of) except hitting the bottom of the pool, which I'm told a lot of people do.
Then I tried the Azimuth, and it didn't. It was noisy, was less comfortable, and generally didn't feel all that great. Controls didn't fall to hand in the same way, and it just wasn't quite, if you know what I mean.
I am not a rebreather diver, nor do I have much experience, but based on a couple of test runs, I'd be saving up for an Inspiration.
Maybe it was just the particular units I dived, but there was a marked improvement.
Have you considered the Dragers? They're reasonably priced, and do a very similar thing. The Azimuths don't seem very popular, and maybe for good reason. |
