| I have transparencies going back to 1970. I am told that CDs will definitely last for 10 years! I suppose ten years seems like a long time when you are 20.
Keep your trannies in a dry dark secure environment. Mine are in filing cabinets. All my later digital pictures are archived on Fuji Photo Discs that are meant to last. I guess they will last longer than I will now!
Photo-libraries now insist on at least 50mb CMYK file sizes. Good scanning takes time. Avoid cutting too much info away in Photoshop.
