Anyway, from what you say.. as a dive supervisor i would say .

A ) Go to A & E, you 99% more likely to catch another cold from the GP's waiting room .
B ) I would say , at least until after the end of sept after a full dive medical is taken , for ' fit to dive '
OR
Go for a self cure , stick a tampax up ya nose for a week
