A new DVD technology that isn't quite due for public release yet. Though I thought they were trying to get it out for this Christmas. You get loads of extra memory and can get much superior quality picture viewing apparently.

Actually we use surgical alcohol in work, so I keep thinking of that when talking about such things. But meths 'may' work also. A decent high strength vodka should work if you can bear to waste it Or, a cheap aftershave that your great anut got you for Christmas that you would never let near your face.
