| Check for sure. As the rules change.
We went out to Tenrife with Thomas Cook from Stanstead.
Excellent airline, check-in (my pet hate) went well and the girl asking if you had lighters etc, pre booked us a block of 3 seats while we were in the queue and we were waiting for Ratty tio turn up.
Tickets were 99 pence, plus taxes, and extra tenner to go from 15kg to 20kg and on asking for a diver's allowance, we were given and extra 10kg gratis.
They were really good for a budget flight.
On the way back we had FlyGlobspan who seem to want to reinforce my (mistaken, honest) stereotype of all things Scots.
Flights were cheap enough, but twice the real price of Thos. Cook.
No free baggage allowance for divers (or any other sporting equipment), "Because we are a budget airline" (at twice the cost of Thos. Cook.??), no probs I thought, so while in 'riffe I booked and extra 10Kg between us for 25 Euros, as if you do it at least 3 days before you fly, it's cheap. We got to TFS only to be told that hand baggage was include in the 20kg allowance! So we have 4kg each which cost 7 Euros/Kg!!
Also, don't assume that as it's your homeward flight from TFS that you can blag it or they won't check, both times we've flown home they have, so always have absolute proof that you have an allowance and expect to be asked for it.
Also FGS had no in-flight movie wheres Thos. Cook did. (although the do sell you headsets).
