| Crap Tips for Stocks & Shares There is an e-mail scam which sends out e-mails about top tips for cheap shares in the hope that loads people will invest and send the price up. (More details available if anyone wants)
The scam is that once the price rises the originators of the scam sell all their shares and the the price drops but they leave with a profit.
It is not illegal but my problem is I am now getting loads of these e-mails a week.
They are from various addresses and are not picked up as spam.
They are not causing any virus problems but are just a pain in the arse.
Does anyone know how to stop or block them?
Must have got my e-mail address from my business cards at exhibitions etc.
They are coming through on my work dial up e-mail when I use it via hotel room phone extensions etc while away. Its not the size of each one it is just the volume of them that takes up time.
Anyone got experience of these things?
