Cave divers are traditionally tight (though I prefer to call them 'creative' ), but then kit is a lot more available at cheaper prices now than it used to be.

I think that with reasonable line laying skills, the type of line (floaty or sinky) is a lot less of an issue. Not too keen on real light floaty plastic line reels but then what are big bolts and bits of lead flashing for?
