I havent followed the case completely so dont know if she took the job knowing the conditions or not, I dont think it matters anyway. If she took the job knowing the conditions then perhaps she felt that the conditions were unfair and she should take the job so she could contest the legality or morality of the conditions, if th econditions were imposed aaafter she took the job then I think she should still have contested the position BA put her and themselves in.
It does seem to me that it would be reasonable to allow external wearing of a modest religious symbol in our tolerant society should be allowed.
Should a visitor take offence at such a symbol then I'm sorry for them but it would be totally out of order for me to go to say Israel and complain about a star of David being displayed by a local person. One should respect the customs of the country one visits and if you dont like them dont visit?
