Well hello from up here to all of you down there. Long time since i got any time on the net, especially on YD since they have blocked it in the library (no forum sites allowed apparently!).
I am still living on the boat in my peedie* cabin, but had to spend the night on Andy's sofa a couple of days ago when two of us couldnt pull the boat in against the wind which was a bit of a bugger. The Sharon Rose is alongside us now which is great as i get to use the shower
but we had an interesting 5 minutes trying to light the boiler and it decided to thunder directly above us. A quick check to make sure both eyebrows were present and correct.
Im currently working in Argo's bakery, very long and unsociable hours, but reliable work. I also still work in the Cafe bar at weekends, meaning no days off and no diving for me
Roll on March when we can start painting and diving again.
Im heading south tonight on the Aberdeen ferry to see my folks and break the news that im staying up here over christmas and new year, somehow i can see that going down like a lead balloon, but the bottle of highland park for my dad as a softener might help
Anyhow, i better go as we need to pack the car etc for heading down the country.
