The reason I ask is I've just ordered a TX50 with a 2m hose and the guys said he hadn't got a 1/2in 2m hose so he would fit an adapter.

I said I was in no hurry so wait for the proper hose to come in.

Did I do the right thing? I just thought that an adapter "might" be  a failure point.
