As with everything in diving, I don't believe there is a "right" or "wrong", there are merely different approaches. Depending on the model you are using, and usually the bottom time/depth, you might end up doing none, 30 second, 1 minute, or 2 minute stops. They can all be appropriate, the only truly important thing is that you understand why whatever model you use is telling you what it is.
