Actually, that's a pretty good idea, but is it strong enough to be able to hold things in the right place upright? You'd have to have some sort of section that went over both bands, wouldn't you? Otherwise it would just twist when you stood the unit up on it, surely?
There must be someone out there who has done this properly, and has a website. So, photos on the web, anyone?
