Yawn...heard it all before... mainly from those on ccr or oc. :-)

Look at the unit, check the course contents and do a try-dive on it, then decide if it is what you want to dive with.

yes it takes longer to set up, but it give me up to 3 hours diving a day with no faffing in between dives.

Once you are familiar with it, it takes about 20min to assemble in the morning and maybe 30mins to wash out at night and pack away. I know OC divers who spend longer!

It is lighter than my old twin set and more fun to dive. I rarely want to dive below 40m any more, so the depth limit is not a problem.

Oh - and it is as safe as the person it is strapped to.

Phew - glad I got that off my chest.
