<font color='#000080'>Well I reckon if you paid for all the workshop time that has been put into that then you would be looking at the thick end of a grand for a one-off. Of course, workshop time is free for me and I can get all of the components trade, including the batteries (
www.countybattery.co.uk), connectors (
www.subconn.com) and battery housing (
www.univer.co.uk- the housing is a pneumatic cylinder). The 10mm glass was, surprisingly, available from my local glass shop.
I did work it out for a production run and the minimum selling cost ended up at about 500 quid.
