Sorry, but I'm still not convinced.  
I agree that if air is continually p1ss1*& out of the holes then there is a problem with  the inner.  But on the occasions that I have  noticed it, it has been when the hose is wet and immediately following pressurisation.  The venting stops after a few moments and I have never noticed a trail of bubbles in my wake during a dive. As far as I understand it, the inner hose is more flexible than the outer as it is the outer that provides the majority of the mechanical strength. I really think that a fact finding mission to a HP hose manufacturer sponsored by YD is in order (prefferably somewhere warm with good diving).

Following this,  if it is upheld that I am wrong, I will respect all demands for an apology.
