| Imported post <font color='#000080'>OK, now I want to talk to people who've either used or have at least had a good play with some of this stuff. I need a wing with about 80lbs (40kg) lift, single bladder, not too expensive (the OMS and NAS I can get for £190 new).
I had a look at the bladder for the Narked@60 stuf, and it looked pretty indestructible, and has a strange lift adjustable design that I probably wouldn't use, but could potentially be useful if it came to resale for example. Anyone ever dived one of these?
I know the OMS is a good bit of kit, but is it the only option? I'm not a big fan of the big halcyon wings as they tend to wrap a bit, and I use suit for buoyancy, so a packed away like the OMS wing might do me well.
Is CD worth considering? Where can I get good prices on CD stuff?
Only other idea I had was this Dive System stuff over from Italy, but I don't like the idea of having to phone italy in the event of a problem, and the materials weren't that great, but nice design. They're also probably the cheapest wing on the market for any intructors, £210 - 30% if you're teaching, just fax them your quals and they will do it no questions. I know there's not a lot of chance, but has anyone used this stuff? I saw the logo on the Italian lady who broke some depth record, but can't remember what kit it was she was in.
Their little wings are one for another day. Great design, useless materials. Maybe for blue-water pootling.
There must be wings I've not considered, so any suggestions. And not the RedWing. It's not big enough. But there was talk of a bigger wing from buddy at the stand sunday!
Answers on a postcard.
Thanks in advance.
