This probably isn't any help but I dive with a 15 L cylinder and 3 L x 300 bar pony with a DiveRite Transpac II and Recwing and a weight harness and have no problems. It is a heavy set-up but the advantage is that I don't have to lift and carry the whole weight at once, just assemble it, put it on and jump in.
