TBH we always do quarries first, sea after.

I can do three 45 min dives in Vobster with students, without looking at a
tide table. We do though stop doing quarries the moment the training is
done. So quarries = training to me, but if people just want to do puddles, fine.

One thing that does concern me (and this is not a pop at this group BTW),
is well meaning individuals attempting training. It's one thing to mentor
an existing diver, it's another to start to teach.

That's a very thin line, which is very easy to cross.

Experinced divers can share experinces and that's good, but if you want
to teach, become an Instructor. Big difference.
