Debris usually means there's a team further ahead. I purposely floored mine to 70mph to see what was further on, and there was nothing. That was my first thought. Also, if it was Debris, the police car wouldn't have given it the beans like he did. And he did in no uncertain terms. ( As an aside I have his reg plate - can I report him for speeding whilst not under blue light conditions (he turned his lights off when he put his foot down)? I know at least three of the other people in cars around me because there were a group of us on our way back so I have more than 4 witnesses!)

The location the police car appeared from would have had to be planned for him to appear the way he did (he effectively pulled out of a layby).

Black Range Rover Sport looked very unmarked to me and it also disappeared (towards York) at a very very high speed.

Nothing in any laybys for the next 2 miles or so.

So every reason I've been given so far doesn't add up.

I've seen similar on the M40 when they were moving royalty, but I've checked and none of the Royal family were up this way then...
