| Imported post Much as I love the idea of Linux - it's free-ish, the hackers don't go after you, the open source thing appeals to the commie in me & I wouldn't be contributing to King Bill's take-over-the-world-fund (which is why I love my Mac) - it can be a right bastard. It's all this command-line nonsense that drives me bonkers.
~more/dev etc etc? Horrible. Or is it cos I'm using the front end recommended by the manufacturers (American & on the basis of what I've seen so far I'm more convinced on a daily basis that they couldn't possibly have got to the moon). Then again, I'm probably embittered about having AIX foisted on me just recently.
