Ok so my friend Claire and I have decided after climbing Scafell Pike last week thats we'd put ourselves in to a charity 26 mile hike on the North Yorkshire Moors at the end of September (27th) in aid of Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team.
I have set up a justgiving page for the MRT England and Wales, so all online funds go to the national MRTs and my offline sponsorship goes to my local Team. Either way, all sponsorship is much appreciated, big or small!
I understand this charity is NON DIVING, but I know alot of you diving folk are also keen outdoors people and the Mountain Rescue lot do a heck of a lot (like RNLI) as volunteers not just for walkers/hikers but for other people such as flood victims (which we have had alot of recently!). All profits go into the service for new equipment etc.
So please please help us reach our target of £500.

So yeh, please please help us...If you cant/dont want to sponsor us then please feel free to leave a message just to give us a bit of 'ummmmpfhhh' as moral support...I know how hard it is to try and sponsor lots of things and how people only have a few select charities they donate to...Im the same...RNLI, MRT and Cancer Research are my main three.
