| Our local council are shooting themselves in the foot on this one, I was a registered carrier of waste, ran two tippers as part of my company. the local tip is now open to private customers only and the next nearist tip is just above dotty. I suggested that the council make a large concrete area where we can weigh in and tip waste, they could then sort it and take it by a 20 tonne waggon to the other tip. this would stop some of the fly tippers and save a lot of vans etc travelling the 60-70 miles to tip small loads. I've now sold the tippers and just use skips, its more cost effective for me.
