| Thanks CaptainNemo - Xmas! - cant get much worse for timing than that.
We are persuing the PI claim for Kath and self. Plenty to fill in.
With regard self monitoring - as you rightly say diving is about self monitoring and for this incident I have been filling in a daily report on what hurts where, when, and what set it off, including how mainly Ibuprofen I took to numb the pain. Sometimes its a sharp stabbing pain either in the back or shooting down the arm, in my case mainly the right arm.
Sometimes its like a thousand bees just stung you in the back and it stings like hell, and for the rest of the time its just nagging away at you.
While driving home I even got a major stab pain in the region of the anus which lasted 10 minutes! stopping the car was a nightmare. I ended up blocking a junction - i think the other drivers must have thought I had stalled. I was looking for blood but nothing. Trapped nerve maybe?
I'm laughting at it now - but it wasnt funny at the time. Just hope it doesn't happen again.
I tried walking after that, but the end result is even worse than driving in terms of back pain generated during and afterwards.
Thankfully no broken bones.
Thanks for everyones kind support |
