A project of this nature is a great undertaking and I wish you the very best of luck in getting it going. Mixing recreational diving with technical diving and encompassing commercial diving may be a key to future success in this market. I do have a number of questions I hope we can all discuss.

How big is your DSV could it handle for example an “A” frame for say a wet bell or ROV for example. Also on a big vessel have you considered increasing the depth rating of the deco chamber from 50MSW to 100MSW as most of the commercial companies are going this way as the present minimum twin lock size of 54” may be scrapped as they are about to increase the minimum size to 1500mm.

The other option if the vessel is smaller then you need a load of deck space for technical diving and commercial work so have you considered the cheaper transportable two man chambers? 55MSW rated but allow the use of 50/50 He02 for treating a type II bend at 30MSW with Helium rather than 50MSW on air, (the table 6 is the same for Type I bends). Smaller and transportable, used by a number of navies UK US and Aus for non magnetic use in MCM.

This large capacity Rix how big is it? with the 12 cylinder air bank if you are running a big chamber and air divers on umbilical this bank will not be big enough. Also how much oxygen and Nitrox are you planning on storing in addition? both for the divers and enough capacity for the chamber.

You stated the compressor will produce nitrox constant flow, What have you got for the automatic control? And are you using bottled oxygen as the source 02 supply?

Finally cheeky question, do you know anyone in the UK that would have all this equipment in stock are you buying new? are you having it designed from scratch?
