[diving with numpty and jim shaw)
i remember this dive very well, don't know what made me ask how much air numpty had.glad i did though,i was just goin to go to the staingarth when i thought i just ask to be on the safe side.(may i just add i was the least qualified and the least experianced diver out of the three of us)i knew jim usually matched me on air him on a 15ltr me on a 12ltr wasnt sure about the numpty.what i did learn from this, dont rely on others to tell you what air they have ask.even if you feel silly better safe then sorry.

also happened to me in zante this year.the dive guide asked for the first diver to reach 100 bar to let him know. i was diving with someone from london just buddied while on hols, (jim had gone home ) i asked him what air he had, he was at 80 bar he hadn't let davie know,i did.he sent a d.m back to the boat with him.i'd still got 110 bar left we carried on the dive for another 30mins. my question was when was he going to tell the dive guide.
