As Mal has already suggested, most of the UK DIR contingent use 'closed circuit' SMBs which have a non-locking inflator mechanism which can be used to inflate that bag either orally (ooer) or via a standard inflation hose. That's not to say that more conventional SMBs aren't DIR - it's just that the closed circuit style has generally been adopted as the preferred type...

Closed Circuit SMBs are available from Halcyon and Divingniknaks
