It could be that your undersuit is blocking the valve from underneath - try fitting a tubigrip bandage over the top of your arm where it sits under the valve, if this is no giood, get the valve checked and if necessary, serrviced or replaced. I'm having similar issues with mine but you will find that in the long run, the constant volume shoulder dump is much better for controlling buoyancy than a wrist dump which tends to drop too much. resulting in yoyo ascents & stops.
