Fluid goggles are for free diving. You fill each eye cup with saline (or seawater) and they are designed so that the liquid forms a lens to enable you to see properly underwater. There is no airspace so no problems with squeezes or wasting lung volume equalising a mask.

Eric Fattah, the guy who runs Liquivision, is a hardcore freediver, have a look at some of the videos on the site.
