I too have used sudafed (the original little red ones!) on and off for the past 17 years or so to help reduce sinus and ear issues on multiple dives both diving air to 60m and nitrox 36 on shallower stuff.



To date I've never had a problem.



There use to be a lot of speculation about sudafed and getting narked easier, I never noticed anything other than help clearing my sinus' and ears. Some aticles also mention sensitivity to high PPO2 exposure....



My personal choice to use Sudafed; I suggest before using it, take proffesional advice


Cold and diving; Lung/chest problems and diving.... don't do it...
