If it had been worth repairing, i would have been entitled, under the insurance policy, to have a hire car. for however long it took for the repairs to be completed.
The moment it was declared a write off, i became no longer entitled to it.
Fault was disputed in my case, so if i had continued to have one until i bought a replacement, there was no guarantee I would get my money back. |
