Ok...update...car written off...van still in for evaluation...

I had a chat with my mate Barry today about how unfair it was, that I hadn't even had an offer on the car yet...and the garage a round demanding thier loan car back...now its been decided that the car is beyond ecconomical repair. So I rang my insurers again and moaned...

Why should I not have a loan car..when due to no fault of my own...ect

They got another firm to ring me... a hire firm that works along side the insurance industry...but not within my car insurance policy...they are independants...

They rang and took all my details...and as its a no fault accident on my part and they are happy that I can proove it...they are happy to lend me a car...up until I get my first compensation offer on the car and for a further 7 days after....which would cover the cheque clearing....

So outcome... moan like BillyO and they might give you a bit more... I wasn't told about the other firm, I had to push..I'll keep posting, because its interesting how its unfolding and it may help someone else...
