As far as I am aware, "beakaway" means "cutaway" so the caveline tied snaps are applicable. But not being GUE trained, I could be wrong. I did the "breakaway" think a while ago with a bolt snap and an 'O' ring, but it slides about the hose a bit too much. And anyway, those things are so strong that you would need to cut them before they would 'break'.
