As someone who did this 6 months ago I would advise you to ignore packages and put together a list of items that you actually
want.
Any good LDS will offer you a decent discount that will probably match any package offer if you're buying everything from them at once.
I did that and spent £2200 which was reduced to £1600 by the time discount was applied and a few items thrown in for 'free' on top (such as a reasonable dive bag, a reg bag, drysuit braces, knife, etc).
That said, of course, you might be quite happy with the package on offer
