| Pliers sounds good, a project for tomorrow, I guess a little warming first with hairdryer may help?
I have access to some pretty powerful solvents, I'd start with something weak like ethanol, and see if that softens the glue a little, just don't want holes in the membrane which I sense my chloroform might produce!
