Rob, I have found that the post-view is pretty good for making up for this lack. I took several shots of a moray out in the Red Sea that I didn't want to get too close to as he kept coming out as soon as I did and didn't look happy with me! I was using a 10-20mm Sigma lens and wanted to fill the frame shooting up into the moray so had to put the camera on the sand seab, take a shot, then review it and move the camera or adjusted the strobes accordingly. I took around 40 shots but I admit having a live view would have been very beneficial but in this case I wouldn't be able to view the screen due to the coral and moray being in the way
Also agree on the glass front. I have just had some 12x16 prints made from the Scapa and Red Sea trips which have gone up in Scapa Scuba and Vobster. Prints that I would not have been able to do on the Oly5050 I used to have due to noise. However I do miss the f1.8 on the Oly5050, I only have f4 on the 10-20 Sigma meaning I have to shoot at a higher ISO to handhold, even with strobes as they don't cover the background.
