| Imported post I don't know why we are recycling this old argument again and again. The DIR method has always involved carrying the stages in and dropping them rather than carrying them on a dive, the cause of several fatalies. UK and New jersey practice has always been stages on either side and since the collective experience of this group in wreck diving is far longer and extensive than the WKPP (and I have tried it and been happy with the methods) then I place more faith in their methods being suitable for my type of diving.
This doesn't mean I am not quite happy to use bits of everything but why are we always dredging up the same arguments and should we not be listening to all viewpoints especially if they are the most experienced collectively?
