I have my yellow long-hosed DV in my mouth and my black DV necklaced away out of sight.
BUT, my yellow primary is a TX40, whilst my black bakup is a TX100. And I'd recommend the TX40 primary with TX50 backup to you as well - they're the exact same DV with the exact same breathing characteristics.
But you can use the de-tuning knob on the TX50 to make your (upturned) necklaced backup less prone to freeflowing, whereas it has virtually no use on a primary reg in standard diving. I've tried both ways, and finally settled on the TX40 as my primary.
