<font color='#0000FF'>I use a long hose on the right post of my indies, however it's bungied so not exactly DIR.
Works well for me, have tried it hoggie style, didnt like it (oo err..)
Another thing I use is GI's emergency pocket. Loop of bungie through the material and all pocket contents clipped off inside.
Spare mask, wet notes, backup tables, compass etc.
Easy to grab things, just pull everything out and choose the item you want then stuff the others back in.
Modified it a bit by using a retractor for my compass.
Also use one piece harness but have added two more D rings.
