Dom - nice bit of spaced out lateral thinking there. However, I am surprised you could not be bothered to look up the right  word that is used to describe a representation of a sound. I know you know it is not acronym - tut tut, I thought you better than that.  

It could possibly be the noise made by a very happy and contented FFM diver humming to themselves as they smuggly fin past safe from cold and bugs and other nasty things.
